Buhari Says He Sometimes Can’t Find His Way In Aso Rock


President Muhammadu Buhari in a recent interview in France said he sometimes misses his way in Aso presidential villa, an expansive palace which serves both as office and residence for the president. Buhari was also a former military head of state that ruled from Dodan Barracks in Obalende Lagos, from January 1984 to August 1985, when he was overcame by Babangida. Buhari was asked by an interviewer on France 24, whether Aso Rock was like the government house he left in 1985. He replied: “It was not the same place. The last time I was there, I was in the barracks. This time I am in a palace. At times, I can’t find my way around. It is so big so much that it must be expensive to maintain.
